Today we look back at Maria and Hugo’s amazing wedding at Domaine de la Chartrognière. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, this wedding venue really exudes something special. And as Maria and Hugo’s big day happened during winter time, it was even more magical!
When these lovers contacted us for the first time, we were personally very receptive to their love story. Like us, they are an international couple. Maria is from the United States, and Hugo is French. Many of their experiences as a couple with two different nationalities resonated with our story and all the stages we went through. It was therefore quite natural that the feeling passed between the four of us!
Maria and Hugo’s Wedding Day
So here we are, in November, after weeks of constant contact to plan and help this beautiful couple get the best wedding photos with useful tips. Upon our arrival, the magical landscapes immediately made us feel an impression of serenity. And it wasn’t just an impression! Compared to many weddings we have had the opportunity to capture, our lovely couple was not too stressed. They were simply on cloud nine, accompanied by their loved ones, and were preparing to seal their future together.
After having taken some details of the place, we began to photograph the preparations of our lovebirds. Each in a different room on the wedding venue with their witnesses, the atmosphere was more than good!
Before their wedding at Domaine de la Chartrognière, Maria and Hugo wanted to discover each other during a first look. The main driveway leading to the estate was the perfect place for this intimate and moving moment. After turning around, Hugo couldn’t take his eyes off Maria. Both were waiting for only one thing, to say “I do” in front of their loved ones!
The ceremony took place outside. It was pretty cold that day but the good humor and smiles of all the guests warmed up the atmosphere very quickly. After a beautiful ceremony and speeches all more touching than each other, our newlyweds and their guests headed inside to warm up and celebrate like crazy!
