How Much Does a Paris Photographer Cost?
Our Real 2026 Prices
Last updated: August 2026
A Paris photoshoot costs between €160 and €490 depending on how long you shoot and how many photos you want. Most of our clients spend €250 to €350 including add-ons. Below is our complete price list — every package, every add-on, no “contact us for a quote.”We publish this because we got tired of reading the same thing on discovery emails: “You’re the fourth photographer I’ve contacted and nobody will tell me what it costs.” So here it is, in full.

Why do Paris photographer prices vary so wildly?
You've probably seen everything from €60 to €900 for what looks like the same hour. The gap is real, and it's mostly about three things.
Per-person vs per-session pricing
Marketplace platforms and some booking sites price per guest. It looks cheap at first — around $70–105 per person is common — but a family of four books an hour and it's suddenly over $400. Our prices are per session. Bring two people or bring eight; €250 is €250.
How many photos you actually receive
A €90 session that delivers 5 edited images costs €18 per photo. A €250 session delivering 20 costs €12.50. The headline price tells you almost nothing until you divide it by the gallery size. Ask two questions of anyone you're considering: how many edited photos, and by when?
What happens after the shutter closes
The hour you spend in front of the camera is maybe a quarter of the work. The rest is scouting, monitoring the weather, planning around whatever is closed or under scaffolding that month, and then several hours of editing per session. Photographers who charge very little are usually solving that by delivering fewer photos, editing faster, or booking four sessions a day. Sometimes that's a perfectly reasonable trade. It's just worth knowing you're making it.
What you're actually paying for at €250
For a one-hour session, roughly:
1–2 hours of planning before you arrive — emails, location choice, timing around sunrise and crowds
1 hour shooting, plus travel and setup either side
2-3 hours culling and editing
Your photographer’s knowledge and vision
Equipment, insurance, backups, and a French business registration (SIREN 978 954 360 — you can look us up)
That’s most of a working day for one session. It’s why the number isn’t €80, and it’s also why we cap how many sessions we take in a week.
Payment, refunds and rain
Payment: we ask for the full amount at booking. We know some photographers take a deposit or nothing at all, and we’d rather be upfront about why we don’t: sunrise slots at the Eiffel Tower are limited, and holding one without payment means turning away someone who’s flown in for it.
To make that fair, we’ve made it genuinely reversible:
Full refund if you cancel up to 24 hours before your session. No questions, no fee.
Free rescheduling if it rains. Though read our case for shooting in the rain anyway before you move it — some of our favourite photos happened on the worst-weather mornings.
30-day money-back guarantee. If you get your gallery and the photos aren’t what you hoped for, tell us within 30 days and we’ll refund you. The only condition is that no picture was downloaded.
We’re not aware of another Paris photography team offering that last one. It exists because we’d rather lose a booking fee than have someone stuck with photos they don’t love.

Frequently asked questions
Between €160 and €490 for a private session, depending on length and gallery size. Most clients spend €250–350 including add-ons. Marketplace platforms often price per person instead, which changes the comparison significantly for families and groups.
Not with us. You’ll find sessions below that in Paris, usually delivering fewer edited photos or with longer delivery times. That can be exactly right for some people — we’d just rather you compare gallery size and turnaround, not only the headline price.
No. Sunrise, midday and sunset all cost the same, even though sunrise means we’re at Trocadéro before 6am. It’s the best light and the emptiest streets, so we’d rather not put a price barrier on it.
No. Prices are per session regardless of group size.
Within 5 days as standard, or within 24 hours with express delivery (€79, or included in the €97 Keepsake Collection).
Yes, €129. You’ll still receive your full edited gallery — the raws are in addition, not instead.
Reschedule free of charge. Or shoot anyway — rain in Paris photographs beautifully, and the landmarks are empty.
Yes, at booking. You can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before, and there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee on the delivered photos.
Not for personal, non-commercial photos in public spaces. Some gardens (like Luxembourg Garden) and interiors have their own rules, and commercial shoots are different.
Yes. Every gallery includes full personal print and sharing rights. Pictures are delivered in high resolution (ready to print), and web size format (ready to share).
