Corentine and Henri met a few years ago thanks to a common passion, singing. During our first meeting, they told us that they wanted spontaneous photos reflecting the day’s energy. In short, something that totally represents them! They were planning a day full of surprises and songs because many of their guests were also singers and musicians.
After our interview with this lovely couple, we were super excited at the idea of being able to photograph this special wedding!
Corentine and Henri’s wedding day
This beautiful day started with the preps of Corentine and Henri. Both were getting ready in different locations so they could have a first look before the ceremony. Once ready, our lovers had an incredible first look in front of their close families.
Unlike many couples who plan to get married in the south of France, Corentine and Henri did not want to get married in a chateau. Instead, they wanted an ample space open to the outside, with marquees to protect them from the summer sun and the intense heat of August.
The ceremony began with music and song with the couple’s friends. Henri and all the guests were impatiently waiting for Corentine, in the shade of the marquee. Suddenly, she appeared on her father’s arm and walked down the aisle. It was, as always, a very emotional moment for the whole audience.
After a magnificent wedding in Dordogne, full of laughter and tears, Corentine and Henri finally united in front of their loved ones. Now it was time to cool off and have fun! Henri took the opportunity to surprise his new wife with a love song. It was so cute!
The evening took place in another marquee nearby, with amazing flowers and decorations. And what an evening! Funny and moving speeches, singing, crazy dance moves… Without a doubt one of the warmest atmospheres that we have had the pleasure of photographing!
