Maeva and Guillaume are a French couple, who recently move to Canada for a new adventure. After Guillaume proposed, they both decided that they would celebrate their union on Maeva’s home island of Martinique and contacted us to photograph their superb wedding at the Bakoua hotel.
A few days after the celebrations, the four of us decided to make the most of our time on the island by capturing more memories with an intimate beach photoshoot during the golden hour. Maeva and Guillaume wanted to take full advantage of their last moments on the island before going home to the Canadian snowstorms. As for us, we were in no hurry either to find the Parisian weather!
The Beach Photoshoot
So we found ourselves on the black sand beach of L’Anse Noire, a truly unique place appreciated by the locals. As usual, we started the photoshoot by guiding this lovely couple to make them feel completely at ease. The difference this time is that we had time to get to know each other better since we had photographed their wedding a few days earlier!
After several minutes of having fun on the black sand beach, we suggested that Maeva and Guillaume take the plunge! Despite the fact that Maeva got stung by a jellyfish a few days earlier, she didn’t hesitate for a second!
The rest of this beach photoshoot in Martinique then took place in the warm Carribean water, until the sun set completely into the sea… A timeless moment!
